The original Chivite estate vineyards are located in Navarra Ribera Baja, at Cintrúenigo and nearby Corella, not far from the border with Rioja Baja. These vineyards cover 198 acres and together with the Marcilla Estate an additonal 272.  These are supplemented by two exclusive contract vineyards. These five properties are the anchor of the Gran Feudo range of wines.

The grapes take on the distinct qualities of their respective regions, bringing a lively, complex quality to the finished wines. Cintruénigo, for example, with its warm days yields a rich, ripe fruit, whereas the high terraces of the River Aragón in Marcilla contribute a fruit of natural elegance. Yields are carefully controlled and vines meticulously cultivated employing green pruning and canopy management to ensure the highest quality grapes.  The grapes are primarily Garnacha and Tempranillo, with smaller plantations of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Muscat à Petit Grains. Vines average 20 years of age and are planted by variety according to microclimate.

The Chivite winery dedicated to their production houses more than 18,000 French and American oak barrels.
