Gran Feudo has benefited since the beginning from the long standing wine making tradition of the Chivite family that goes back to 1647.  For more than two centuries, the Chivite winery was situated in Cintruénigo (Navarra) on the Caballeros street. In 1872 as the winery’s business grew, Claudio Chivite began construction of a new winery, named ‘La Cascajera’ named after the stone quarry on which it was situated. Over the next century, our family has continued to renovate and improve the winery, with the most recent renovation taking place in 1988.
